Mount Kailash: Mount Kailash region in southwestern Tibet is the source of some of the largest rivers in Asia. Brahmaputra, Sutlej, Indus and Karnali/Ghaghara and orginate from east, west, north and south of the Kailash range.Kailash is revered as the holy place by Hindus, Buddhist, Bons and Jains.

Yelbang Monastery: It is the largest monastery in Humla district of Nepal bordering to Tibet and was established in 1985. Also called Namkha Khyung Dzong Monastery, it is a Buddhist monastery of the Nyingma tradition, one of the four schools of Tibetan Buddhism. The monastery is resided by more than 150 monks.
